I agree completely about staying and fighting and appreciate that you have a voter's guide for Christians with conservative / biblical values. Where you got things wrong is that the move from Lutheran to Christian is the issue. The eventual member churches of the ELCA have bene with the parent companies of Thrivent from the beginning. Expanding to Christians is actually a good thing for the community because it will hopefully dilute the ELCA influence on Thrivent. Also, consider that the logo with the cross was developed under a CEO who was a former LCMS employee and the decision to drop the cross (which was only a part of Thrivent for 6 years) was under a CEO that has a long history in the ELCA. Thank you for your encouraging words.
